BFA students can only book one light kit per reservation per class.
1st year MFA students can book one light kit per reservation unless otherwise approved by the equipment manager.

All equipment requests must be sent to gemanagerccny@gmail.com at least 2 business days before the check-out date.

The check out periods is Tuesday – Friday & Friday – Tuesday. Equipment check out starts at 1:00PM. Check in equipment must be returned before noon.

Gear must be checked out and checked in by the student whose name is on the ERC. You cannot ask a friend to return your gear, and do not return someone else’s.

5.

You can’t book equipment twice in one week or two weekends in a row. There must be one week between reservations.

6.

Consistent late returns will result in a ban on equipment rental.

7.

Test all equipment before you leave the Grip & Electric room. If equipment is returned broken or with missing parts, you are contractually responsible to replace or pay for the repair of the item.

Report lost or damaged equipment as soon as it happens. In the event of a theft, you must notify Susan Mei (gemanagerccny@gmail.com) and the NYPD immediately. If you are on campus, you must notify Public Safety at 212-650-7777 and Susan at 212-650-6563 immediately.
